Consultation on Contractor Classification (FL + TX)
We’re a small business working with independent contractors in the manual labor space (TV mounting, mobile car wash, furniture assembly). Our team currently includes around 80 contractors, with approximately 10 based in Florida and 10 in Texas.
We’re seeking a licensed employment attorney (or law professional with strong experience in misclassification risk) to:
Review our current worker classification practices
Help us ensure legal compliance with both federal and state regulations
Focus specifically on Florida and Texas
We’ve already done an internal review using IRS and state guidelines but want to validate our position and correct course where needed.
Consultation Format:
We’d like to schedule a one-hour video call consultation (Zoom or similar) this coming Monday, preferably in the afternoon (ET).
