The Consultant on the Retirement Administration team will provide administrative services for the Travelers Pension and 401(k) Plan, responding to participant inquiries and managing data within pension administration systems.ResponsibilitiesUtilize the pension administration system to manage participant requests, prepare pension election forms and process paymentsResearch and respond to participant benefit plan inquiries, create a positive customer experience for plan retirees and their beneficiaries; Respond to cases forwarded by the Employee Services Unit call centerMaintain data in Pension and 401(k) administration systemsWork with administration systems, Human Resource database and employee records when necessary to resolve data issuesProvide support to pension administration manager and benefits team membersComplete retirement benefit plan related administration as needed, may assist with Health & Welfare tasksProvide support to our retirement plans, including assisting with core projects and auditsAssist with tasks related to international benefits, as neededPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's and/or associate degree or equivalent2+ years of benefits related experience1 year of retirement plan related experienceExperience using HR Technology platforms, including WorkdayExperience with pension plan benefits calculationsWritten and oral skillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsStrong customer service orientationExcel, Word and related software package skills requiredAbility to interpret facts and figuresWorks well in a team environment--establishes and maintains effective work relationshipsHighly ethical and can maintain confidentialityCEBS exams and designationsBenefitsHealth Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members â including spouses, domestic partners, and children â are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
