In this role, you will be responsible for providing underwriting guidance and support for our program business, ensuring profitable growth and retention. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically related to program underwriting.

Provide expert guidance and support for underwriting decisions, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.

Analyze and evaluate program risks and exposures to determine appropriate coverage and pricing.

Collaborate with various departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement strategies for profitable growth and retention.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of program underwriting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for adapting to changes in the market.

Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate potential risks and losses.

Train and mentor junior underwriters, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to address any underwriting concerns or inquiries.

Continuously monitor and evaluate program performance, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Collaborate with other members of the underwriting team to develop and implement best practices and standard procedures.

Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
