The Consultant - Data & Analytics role involves partnering with the Assurance practice to enhance analytics capabilities, developing skills in data wrangling and analytics, and delivering innovative solutions to clients' complex challenges. Responsibilities You will partner with and support the A&A practice to enhance their use of analytics You will develop essential skills in wrangling data and building analytics to unlock the power of our clients’ data as well as develop innovative tools using advanced technology You will leverage analytics skills to bridge gaps between technologies and practitioners and clients, by providing guidance, support and technical assistance including, coordinating data requirements, using programming, visualization and database tools to create analytics and delivering those analytics within the required timelines This role involves creativity, dynamic thinking and problem solving Focus on developing, deploying and championing the use of analytics and new technologies to innovate our processes and design and develop market offerings that provide value to our clients Through motivation, support and learning development and delivery, we encourage A&A to expand their use of analytics and innovation Skills Actively pursuing or holding a CPA designation is preferred, but not required Analytical in nature, passionate about data and technology and learning new software and tools, and a desire to continue to develop these skills Experience with Python, Automation tools (i.e. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and/or cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCP Must be passionate about learning, exploring and developing new ways to do things; enthusiastic about change and embracing new ideas Have strong communication, project management and organization skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, innovative and creative team environment Knowledge or experience using programming languages, visualization tools and/or databases (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx) considered an asset Preferred areas of academic study/background: Business, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (i.e. technical backgrounds, data analytics, cyber/operations, AI, etc.) Benefits Flexible work arrangements Hybrid work structure Company Overview Deloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
