The role involves partnering with the A&A practice to enhance analytics usage, developing essential skills in data wrangling, and creating innovative tools using advanced technology to unlock client data.ResponsibilitiesYou will partner with and support the A&A practice to enhance their use of analyticsYou will develop essential skills in wrangling data and building analytics to unlock the power of our clientsβ data as well as develop innovative tools using advanced technologyYou will leverage analytics skills to bridge gaps between technologies and practitioners and clients, by providing guidance, support and technical assistance including, coordinating data requirements, using programming, visualization and database tools to create analytics and delivering those analytics within the required timelinesThis role involves creativity, dynamic thinking and problem solvingFocus on developing, deploying and championing the use of analytics and new technologies to innovate our processes and design and develop market offerings that provide value to our clientsThrough motivation, support and learning development and delivery, we encourage A&A to expand their use of analytics and innovationSkillsActively pursuing or holding a CPA designation is preferred, but not requiredAnalytical in nature, passionate about data and technology and learning new software and tools, and a desire to continue to develop these skillsExperience with Python, Automation tools (i.e. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and/or cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCPMust be passionate about learning, exploring and developing new ways to do things; enthusiastic about change and embracing new ideasHave strong communication, project management and organization skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, innovative and creative team environmentKnowledge or experience using programming languages, visualization tools and/or databases (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx) considered an assetPreferred areas of academic study/background: Business, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (i.e. technical backgrounds, data analytics, cyber/operations, AI, etc.)BenefitsFlexible work arrangementsHybrid work structureCompany OverviewDeloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
