Job Title: Construction Estimator (Remote with Monthly Austin Visits) Location: Primarily Remote – Must be within driving distance of Austin, TX (monthly office and jobsite visits required) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Construction Estimator with experience in vertical construction to join our team. This role will be primarily remote, with monthly in-person meetings and site visits in Austin, TX. The Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting project delivery across a range of masonry and building envelope trades. Responsibilities • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects involving CMU, brick, stucco, stone, waterproofing, and insulation. • Utilize Planswift software (experience required); Tradesmens experience is a plus but not required. • Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications with a strong attention to detail. • Maintain an understanding of jobsite flow, construction methods, and sequencing. • Support monthly in-person project meetings and jobsite reviews in Austin. • Collaborate with project managers and field staff to ensure estimates align with project goals. • Meet deadlines consistently and maintain clear communication while working remotely. Qualifications • Minimum 2+ years of estimating experience (vertical construction preferred). • Field experience in construction is strongly preferred. • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. • Familiarity with construction details, workflows, and scheduling. • Proficiency with estimating software (Planswift required). • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage tasks independently.
