Job Description
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor financial transactions and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all tax regulations.
Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and management, to support business objectives.
Prepare reports for senior management, identifying key financial trends and areas for improvement.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a collaborative work environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
