Virtual Middle/High School Educator Opportunity Mountain Home, ID

A virtual middle/high school is recruiting for full-time educators for the upcoming school year 26/27, with opportunities to review candidates and conduct interviews for future terms. This contract role offers a chance to deliver instruction across a range of subjects including General Education (Telehealth), Special Education, Social Studies, Computer Science, and Science.

Position Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver curriculum aligned with state standards for middle and high school students in a virtual environment.
• Utilize telehealth tools and strategies to support students with diverse learning needs, particularly in general and special education settings.
• Engage students through dynamic and interactive online teaching methods.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to develop individualized plans for students requiring special education services.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback to students and families.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in virtual education.

Desired Qualifications:
• Valid teaching certification in relevant subject areas (General Education, Special Education, Social Studies, Computer Science, or Science).
• Experience teaching middle and/or high school students in an online or blended learning environment.
• Strong proficiency with telehealth and virtual education platforms.
• Ability to engage and motivate students remotely.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and supporting diverse learners.

Location: Virtual setting with affiliation in Mountain Home, ID.
