Computer Engineering Intern - Montek System

ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, development, and verification of digital systems using VHDL.Run simulations, testbenches, and debug designs using ModelSim (or equivalent simulators).Support FPGA-based prototyping and hardware bring-up activities.Document design processes, simulation results, and project findings.Collaborate with engineers to validate functionality and optimize performance.Research and experiment with new tools, methods, and workflows to enhance productivity.QualificationsBachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Knowledge of HDL programming (VHDL, Verilog a plus).Familiarity with simulation tools such as ModelSim, Vivado, or Quartus.Understanding of digital logic design, state machines, and timing analysis.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)Experience with FPGA development boards.Exposure to scripting languages (Python, TCL, Bash).Knowledge of system-level design or embedded systems.BenefitsHands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers.Opportunity to work on industry-grade FPGA and digital design projects.Flexible work hours (depending on academic schedule).Potential for future full-time opportunities.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
