The Florida Keys – the continental United States’ southernmost island chain are characterized by a subtropical climate, natural beauty, and a uniquely laid-back atmosphere that seems to be a world away from big cities and everyday cares. The mission of Visit Florida Keys is to provide outstanding service and resources with the highest degree of ethics and integrity to meet the needs of the Monroe County Tourist Development Council, the tourism industry, and to the public they serve.
The Comptroller is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial health by managing accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls. This position ensures that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. The Comptroller will also be instrumental in leading compliance initiatives and documenting finance-related SOPs and will serve as the project lead for the implementation and oversight of an AI-powered compliance tool.
