Compliance Specialist, Finance & Banking

ViClarity is a global leader in compliance and technology solutions for credit unions and other regulated industries. We are seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist to join our team! This individual will play a crucial role in supporting credit union adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Salary Range: $60,000-$77,000. Commensurate with experience. • Open to a fully remote position with availability to work within US time zones. What You'll Be Doing • Respond to and investigate inquiries received through ViClarity's compliance hotline, ensuring timely and thorough resolution. • Maintain accurate and confidential records of inquiries. • Analyze hotline data to identify compliance trends. • Remain up to date on relevant Federal banking laws, regulations, credit union internal controls, and industry best practices. • Remain up to date on State specific banking laws, including but not limited to the following states: California, Utah, Nevada, Iowa, Ohio, and Massachusetts. • Assist in the promotion of the compliance hotline and encourage use by credit union League members. Who You Are • 2-3 years of experience in compliance risk management or related field within the financial services industry. • Experience with compliance hotlines or similar reporting mechanisms preferred. • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements - expertise with NCUA regulations preferred. • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and within a team. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • * Credit and criminal background verification required on all applicants.
