Compliance Specialist
Position Title: Compliance SpecialistDepartment: ComplianceLocation: RemoteReports To: Compliance ManagerInstallation Made Easy (“IME”) provides software and process management that enable retailers and contractors to offer installed home improvements to homeowners in a convenient, consistent, and affordable manner. IME senior management has over 100 years of retail management and home improvement industry experience.The Compliance Specialist position will assist contractors with on-boarding requirements and with ensuring that contractors remain in good standing throughout the duration of their relationship with IME. This includes receiving and reviewing onboarding paperwork such as legal and financial documentation and ensuring their continued compliance with IME program requirements.An ideal candidate for this role will be driven, detailed oriented, and be able to effectively communicate with persons of multiple backgrounds. The candidate must be able to work independently in a remote environment.Essential Functions:Collect and input information from contractor applications into IME systemsReview and approve/deny applications based on company policies, including legal and financial documentationConfirm contractor licenses using proprietary databaseUse judgment to escalate licensing issues as necessary to VP-LicensingIf application is denied, determine if other options are available that meet company policiesSet up and maintain contractor profiles in IME systems and track contractor progress throughout vetting and onboarding processUpdate product assignments and territory coverage in IME systemAccurately respond to questions on Compliance policies or procedures from other departments including Operations, Call Center and Executive ManagementPeriodically review Contractors’ bond/letter of credit values in conjunction with store/club assignments and ensure conformity with policyProactively notify Contractors of expiring insurance, bonds, or licenses and follow through to resolutionPerform other duties as required.Minimum Qualifications:3+ years experience with customer service or vendor supportHigh School diploma or equivalentProfessional demeanorSound judgment and strong problem-solving abilityExcellent communication skills, both written and oralAbility to interact effectively with all levels of an organizationEfficient and detail-orientedExceptional organization skillsAbility to adapt to changing or multiple priorities.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Benefits to working with IME: 100% remote work environmentEmployer provided equipment.Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings plan includes employer contribution to health savings account.Medical and dental flexible spending accountsCompany paid basic life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance.401K plan with employer matchCompany matches 100% of the first 4% of salary deferrals.All contributions, including employer contributions, are 100% vested immediately.Employee discount program for Electronics, Groceries, Travel, Entertainment, and moreEmployee assistance programPay on demand.Critical illness, hospital indemnity, group accident, and legal insurancePaid time off.And more!
