The Compliance Product Analyst I is responsible for coordinating regulatory updates, managing work expectations, and performing configuration while learning about the product and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes RCS BA JIRA tickets created by stakeholders in order to prioritize unassigned ticketsCoordinates regulatory updates to products, between internal and external stakeholdersUnderstands regulatory and business requirements, and translates into technical requirementsUtilizes JIRA tickets to manage and communicate work expectationsCreates JIRA tickets in other team environments as appropriateWorks configuration tickets according to team standardsMaintains accuracy of Kanban boardPerforms certain project managerial activities, e.g. coordinates cross-functional team projectsAnalyzes and communicates to stakeholders impacts of upcoming regulatory changes to production and test systemsPerforms production and test environment verification tasks and quality assuranceContinually educates self regarding products servicedUnderstands and interprets business requirements and regulatory conceptsReviews company policies and procedures to determine compliancePerforms limited quality assurance tasksWorks configuration tickets according to team standardsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceKnowledge of insurance or securities industry, particularly licensing and complianceDetail oriented and able to understand and interpret complex industry requirements and regulatory concepts within the insurance and financial industriesAdvanced interpersonal communication skills including the ability to discuss and interpret laws and rules accurately and clearly in writingAble to work well in teams and independentlyExcellent time management skillsSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionAble to organize and work multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; MS Project a plusTech savvy with knowledge of relational databases and SQLProject management experience helpfulBenefitsFlexible First working environmentWFH flexibleCompany OverviewVertafore offers software and essential information to address business challenges within the insurance industry.
