Compliance Lawyer for US E-commerce

We are a fast-growing at-home beauty tech brand selling LED, microcurrent, and EMS devices plus topical serums, primarily targeting women 50+. We're in the process of updating our product pages, homepage, and marketing copy to ensure full FTC and FDA cosmetic compliance.
What We Need
We've already completed an internal compliance audit. We need an experienced advertising/FTC attorney to:
- Review our flagged issues and proposed copy alternatives
- Confirm, refine, or escalate recommendations
- Advise on endorsement disclosure requirements (FTC 16 CFR 255) for paid dermatologist partnerships
- Clarify FDA cosmetic vs. drug claim boundaries for our device and serum copy
- Flag any additional risks we may have missed
- Provide a short written sign-off memo suitable for internal records
Scope
This is a focused, bounded project - not ongoing counsel. Though we might request similar check on new product and product categories in the future.
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed attorney with hands-on FTC advertising and/or FDA cosmetic/device experience
- Familiar with the FTC's 2023 updated Endorsement Guides
- Experience with DTC e-commerce or beauty/wellness brands a strong plus
- Able to provide practical, actionable guidance - not just risk flags
