Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation’s largest fraternal benefit societies, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Adv Analyst to ensure advertising and marketing efforts meet regulatory compliance standards. The role involves reviewing advertising submissions, maintaining records, and assisting with training related to compliance topics.ResponsibilitiesReview and disposition Field representative and Home Office advertising submissions and social media activity; interpret NAIC Model Regulations, state insurance regulations, and industry standards for best practicesCommunicate advertising revisions and changes and work collaboratively with the Field and Home Office staffUtilize appropriate software tools to accomplish this processMaintain records of advertising reviews and approvals for audit and regulatory purposesResearch state and FINRA advertising filing requirements and preparing submissionCommunicate with the state or FINRA on any objections received, and work with Home Office departments on responses to filing objectionsRetain copies of filings for Modern Woodmen’s recordsProvide input regarding compliance related topics to Field representatives attending the Home Office Career Schools/cohortsMay assist with creating training for Field and Home Office staff on advertising & social mediaManage and track Field and Home Office social media profile connections in monitoring toolsMaintain relevant policies and procedures for the departmentCompile new policies and procedures when changes in the department are necessaryRecommend revisions and updates to existing policies and procedures as neededParticipate in regular systematic review of procedure documentsAttend compliance related conference at least every other yearAttend online advertising related industry committees and webinarsAnalyze data and create periodic reports concerning Field representative-created advertising statistics/reviews and social media accountsCreate and maintain a variety of compliance-related periodic reportsPresent analyses and summaries to Field management and Home Office staffSkillsBachelor's degree required and one to two years' work experienceProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePointAptitude for communicating effectively in writing and in conversationAbility to work in a team environmentCapacity to anticipate and provide solutions to complex issuesStrong research skillsCompetence with various technical software programsDetailed knowledge of Modern Woodmen life and annuity productsLOMA Level 1, FLMI, AIRC, FINRA Series SIE, 6 and 26 preferred or willingness to achieve overtimeBenefitsVacationSick leave11 paid holidaysCompany-paid retirement planMatching 401(k) planEmployee Impact BonusMedical, Dental and Prescription Drug Insurance.
