What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Evaluate and resolve coverage issues for abuse claims
Investigate claims through various means including phone calls and written correspondence
Present claims and trends to leadership, discussing coverage and liability assessments
Analyze information to determine ultimate exposure for claims
Negotiate and resolve claims within delegated authority, providing necessary reports to relevant departments
What Is Required (Qualifications)
College degree preferred
8+ years of casualty claims handling experience, specifically with abuse or molestation claims
Experience in coverage analysis and claim evaluations
Superior communication and strategic negotiation skills
Moderate proficiency with standard business-related software, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Law degree preferred but not required
Proven problem-solving and excellent presentation skills
Valid state-issued drivers license in good standing
