Compensation Consultant, International Division

About the position The Compensation Consultant for the International Division at Vanguard will provide strategic compensation consultation across global businesses. This role involves collaboration with various partners to develop analyses and presentation materials, supporting the execution of pay strategies globally, and addressing region-specific needs. The consultant will act as a lead expert in compensation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulations while managing job evaluations and benchmarking processes. Responsibilities • Deliver strategic compensation consultation across international businesses. • Collaborate with global partners to develop critical analyses and presentation materials. • Support the execution of pay strategies globally in partnership with regionally based HR teams. • Coordinate year-end compensation planning and benchmarking processes. • Advise senior management on aligning pay programs with organizational goals. • Implement creative solutions for compensation-related programs. • Ensure compliance with compensation practices and recommend timely revisions. • Oversee HRIS data accuracy for compensation information and calculations. • Manage job evaluations, salary surveys, and analytical reporting for pay strategies. • Own market competitive benchmarking for defined business areas. • Coach and develop fellow compensation analysts. • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Five years of related work experience, with at least two years in Compensation preferred. • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. • Graduate degree is a plus. • Progress toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. • Prior consultative experience in HR or Compensation is preferred. Nice-to-haves • Experience supporting international teams in a matrixed global setting. • Advanced analytics capabilities in Excel. • Strong stakeholder and planning management skills.
