Communications Principal

Remote Full-time
Under limited supervision, provides leadership in the development of the organization's strategic plan(s).

Essential Functions
• Coordinate all EVP/SVP/VP level team huddles and organizational meetings (O&D meetings, All Management Meetings, Town Halls)
• Meeting logistics and agenda planning, coordinating presenters, content creation, day of support for EVP/SVP/VP
• EVP, SVP and VP communications distribution (exec emails, organizational announcements, shared email templates and messaging to be used for cascading).
• Provide communications support to broader EVP leadership team as needed in support of various business needs
• Partner with Legal and Corporate Communications on relevant material needed for FedEx input requested by a strategic vendor and/or external media requests.
• Develop and support EVP Campaign program
• Maintains consistency across EVP organization for culture focused efforts and develops EVP level fiscal year culture action plans. Works with identified culture POCs across officer team to implement culture action plan.
• Leads organization of EVP level culture related events (holiday parties, team member recognition events, volunteer opportunities, etc.).
• Creates messaging and templates that can be leveraged used across entire officer team for culture related emails (holidays, team member appreciation, Veteran’s Day, etc.).

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) or more years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement or market/competitive analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills.

Strong communications and human relations skills.

Domicile Information:

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
