As a Communications Coordinator, you will utilize your storytelling skills to promote Redfin's mission and manage essential administrative tasks to support the team. Responsibilities Track, catalog and analyze both Redfin coverage and competitor coverage while consistently looking for ways to optimize processes for accuracy and efficiency Draft press releases and pitch Redfin reports to local media outlets Draft press briefing documents for spokespeople Research how the media is covering housing, including insights for the rental market Keep team updated on relevant industry events, emerging media platforms and more Update media lists and identify new reporters to pitch Skills 1-2 years of full-time PR or communications experience Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field You're highly organized and have experience tracking coverage and creating reports You've worked with reporters before and know how to draft a good pitch You're a creative thinker and strong communicator who reads the news and understands what's considered newsworthy Experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, Muck Rack, Meltwater, Boolean searches, and Tableau Benefits Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401K retirement plan Paid time off Company Overview Redfin is a technology-driven residential real estate brokerage with the country’s most-visited real estate brokerage website.
