About the position

The Commercial Real Property Specialist - Acquisition & Utilization position within the Department of General Services is a vital role that focuses on the acquisition and utilization of commercial real estate properties. This position is hybrid, allowing for telework up to three days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, while also requiring the successful candidate to report to the office as needed. The ideal candidate must reside in California upon appointment and will be part of a collaborative team that values ethics, integrity, and stewardship in government operations. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for making or participating in governmental decisions that may have a material effect on personal financial interests, necessitating the completion of Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and annually thereafter. The position may be downgraded to Real Estate Officer for recruitment purposes, with duties adjusted accordingly.
