Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) Freelancer

A high-growth strategy consulting firm is seeking a senior associate to join its Private Equity & Strategic Growth team. The firm works closely with lower mid-market through to large private equity funds ($50M–$100M+ revenue portfolio companies), supporting investment decisions and post-deal value creation.

This is a freelance engagement where the project will be on average 4 to 5 weeks. This role is 100% remote and candidates can live anywhere in the US and will be expected to work US Eastern Time hours. Day rate is $800/day to $1000/day. Start date 23 March 2026

The Role

You will work directly with investors and portfolio companies on high-impact commercial and strategic projects, including:
β€’ Market size and growth validation
β€’ Product and service penetration analysis
β€’ Competitive landscape and market share assessment
β€’ Customer and end-market analysis
β€’ Growth strategy development and execution planning

What We’re Looking For
β€’ Minimum of 12+ Commercial Due Diligences (CDDs)
β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
β€’ Ability to synthesise data into clear, actionable insights
β€’ Comfortable working in fast-paced, deal-driven environments
β€’ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
