About the position
The Commerce Operations Manager, Sports, plays a crucial role in the Disney Direct-to-Consumer team, focusing on the management and launch of commerce-related product features and sales for ESPN+ and other streaming services. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute sales initiatives, manage pricing changes, and develop customer messaging, ensuring alignment with business strategies. The role also requires technical configuration and troubleshooting of sign-up processes, alongside maintaining comprehensive documentation to support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Β Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches of commerce-related product features and sales, primarily for sports and ESPN+.

Β Plan and execute sales product launches, price changes, and customer messaging for ESPN+, Disney Bundles, and other related services.

Β Work closely with technical stakeholders in Product and Engineering, as well as internal teams in Marketing, Commerce, Customer Service, Legal, Finance, and Enterprise Consumer Payments.

Β Partner with ESPN Business and Commercial teams to align commerce plans with business strategies and provide feedback on capabilities and execution timelines.

Β Oversee the technical configuration of ESPN+ and other products, including sign-ups, plan switches, cancellations, and troubleshooting.

Β Configure complex offer use cases, including distinct phases for components and date-based transitions for pricing.
,
Β Establish user cohorts to determine in-product eligibility based on subscription attributes and billing credits.
,
Β Collaborate with the Technical Account Management team and IAP partners to configure offers for partner sales.
,
Β Provide input on the development of commerce product tools to enhance TWDC's commerce infrastructure.

Β Assist in maintaining all relevant documentation shared as the source of truth across the business and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Β 5+ years of experience in business operations, account management, project management, or a similar field.
,
Β Highly organized self-starter with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
,
Β Proven project management skills with a track record of launching commercial projects at scale.
,
Β Proficient in Google Office Suite, especially Google Slides, with expertise in crafting professional data visualizations.
,
Β Experienced with project management tools like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Airtable.
,
Β Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
,
Β Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across disciplines.
,
Β Able to navigate a matrixed organization and collaborate with a global network of partners.

Β Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, supporting new products and businesses.
