College Application Tutors Needed! (Fully Remote)

We are seeking academic coaches for College Admissions Planning and College Essay Advising to work online.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• RECENT or CURRENT tutoring/teaching experience; 1:1 college counseling and/or college admission experience
• Passion for educating and building confidence
• Clear communication skills
• Willingness to commit for at least a semester
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Three to five years of college admission experience with an established record of success in helping students achieve admission to highly competitive colleges.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. colleges and universities, current admissions trends, and an understanding of international admissions policies.

• Rapport Building and Approachability
• Google Suite, Zoom Video Conferencing, Online Scheduling, familiarity with education management systems, and learning new user interfaces.
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance to high school students on career exploration, academic course selection, standardized testing plans, extracurricular activities, and college list development.
• Manage the college application process with high school students through advising on improving the chance of acceptance, meeting critical deadlines, and essay development.
• Ability to effectively communicate with parents/guardians/students.
