As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for managing accounts, communicating with customers, and resolving outstanding balances. Manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts with outstanding balances.
Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect on overdue payments.
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers in a professional and effective manner.
Monitor and track payment schedules to ensure timely collection.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information regarding their accounts.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer accounts.
Collaborate with other team members, such as sales and customer service, to gather information and resolve payment issues.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all customer interactions and payment plans.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding collections and customer interactions.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the collections process.
Provide regular updates on collection efforts and account status to management.
Handle sensitive customer information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Meet and exceed individual and team collection goals.
Communicate effectively with customers from various backgrounds and maintain a high level of empathy and professionalism.
Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards related to collections.
