Collaborative Physician
About Us:
Vida Health and Wellness is an autonomous nurse practitioner-owned clinic in Polk County, Florida, offering direct primary care, IV therapy, weight management, and integrative wellness services.
We are currently in the process of being credentialed with major insurance carriers (e.g., Ambetter, BCBS, United) and seeking a Florida-licensed physician who can serve as our collaborating physician of record to fulfill payer and regulatory requirements.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a physician who meets all eligibility requirements to:
• Be listed as our collaborating physician on credentialing applications (e.g., Ambetter, BCBS, United, Aetna, Oscar, Cigna, etc.)
• Sign a collaborative protocol and provide chart reviews per Florida Board of Nursing regulations
• Be available for occasional consults by phone/email (no patient care required)
• Optionally participate in protocol development or clinical direction (if desired)
Qualifications:
• MD or DO licensed and in good standing in Florida
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related field
• Meets all credentialing criteria for Florida insurers (no recent sanctions or exclusions)
• Experience with collaborative practice agreements a plus
• Interest in wellness, PCP, preventative care, and DPC model preferred
