$57,782.40 - 78,000 / Annual Summary The Supervisor oversees development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality educational audits, education materials, meetings and presentations focused on coding accuracy and documentation improvement for professional services, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines. The Supervisor manages the departments day-to-day operations, supporting the staff including training and training oversight, ensures department processes are followed, and serves as a resource for questions and documentation clarification. Analyzing complex guidelines from regulatory bodies (e.g., CMS, AMA, FCSO, OIG, etc.) is necessary. Demonstration of effective judgment and problem resolution by recognizing problems, objectively evaluating facts, and reaching sound judgment is essential. The Supervisor communicates with other departments including Compliance, Informatics, Coding, LPG Practice leadership, etc. As a subject matter expert, resilience and flexibility to perform in a fast-paced environment are essential. Requirements Education:
Associate Degree in Health Information Management required. Applicable experience may be substituted for degree. Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of professional coding experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred. Extensive knowledge and application of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, outpatient coding, E/M guidelines, and documentation standards required Certification:
CPC (Certified Professional Coder) required. CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) required. License:

Coding software and Epic experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred. Prior experience in presenting to various audiences; strong public speaking skills preferred. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
