Job Responsibilities
ā¢ Input ICD-10 codes, following coding guidelines
ā¢ Review OASIS/Assessment and make recommendations following OASIS and home health guidelines
ā¢ Requires excellent written and oral communication skills
ā¢ Requires attention to detail
ā¢ Willingness to learn multiple EMRs
ā¢ Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely
ā¢ Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures
ā¢ Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance
Desired SkillsQualifications
ā¢ MUST have a Clinical degree(examples: RN, PT, ST, OT) and 5 years experience within the home care and/or hospice industry
ā¢ Oasis certification (COS-C, HCS-O or equivalent)
ā¢ HCS-D or equivalent
ā¢ Must reside in the United States
ā¢ Must have your own computer and current ICD-10 coding book
ā¢ 1+year of home health coding/review experience
ā¢ Availability to work some weekends
ā¢ Must have reliable internet service
ā¢ Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
