CNC Mill Operator Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating CNC machinery in a factory setting. This role involves setting up and operating CNC mills to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

Duties
Ā• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications and production schedules.
Ā• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to understand machining requirements.
Ā• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of machined parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Ā• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Ā• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Ā• Package finished products for shipment while adhering to safety protocols in the manufacturing facility.
Ā• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.

Skills
Ā• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
Ā• Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
Ā• Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and specifications.
Ā• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ā• Knowledge of press brake machines is a plus.
Ā• Ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Ā• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ā• Basic welding skills are advantageous but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
