Summary
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team at Elite Medical Home Care. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to our patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will be vital in helping individuals maintain their independence while receiving the highest quality of healthcare.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed.
Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition.
Assist with catheter care and other medical procedures under supervision.
Engage with patients to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and patient care practices.
Experience in assisted living or home health settings is a plus.
Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of dementia care practices is beneficial.
