CMM Mechanical Inspector - 2nd Shift

You will be the CMM Mechanical Inspector. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of mechanical components and assemblies throughout prototype and production programs.
What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
ā¢ Perform a variety of inspection operations of mechanical parts and installations fabricated and/or assembled such as; completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices and detail parts on manufacturing prototype, production development and/or production programs.
ā¢ Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices.

Basic Qualifications:
ā¢ Applied knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
ā¢ High school degree or equivalent
ā¢ Must have the following experience:
o Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings
o Using precision measurement equipment
o Using computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
Desired Skills:
ā¢ Mechanical inspection experience
ā¢ CMM experience
ā¢ Penetrant inspection experience
ā¢ Ability to use precision measurement tools (ie: Calipers, micrometers, etc)
ā¢ Knowledge of inspection theory
ā¢ Must be able to effectively interact with Engineering, production and Corrective Action personnel
ā¢ Strong interpersonal skills
ā¢ Ability to work on a team

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
