CLX Property Advocate, Contents

We’re looking for a Claims Property Advocate with experience in handling complex Contents claims, to join our claims organization, which strives to change the insurance industry for the better.As an essential part of the Contents claims team at Lemonade, you'll educate and develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.What you'll doQuickly communicate and build rapport with our customers, while providing top-notch service by phone and email through a claim, from end-to-endEffective verbal and written communicationObtain, evaluate, and investigate facts of loss for the timely settlement of claimsHave an investigative mindset and the ability to interpret information to make accurate claims decisions, while providing an excellent customer experienceOrganize and prioritize daily tasks in order to resolve claim-based questionsUnderstand and interpret individual customer policies per stateExplain coverage decisions to customers in plain English, without relying on jargonWhat you’ll need1 year of property claim handling experience, handling all perils and causes of loss including theft, water, and fireAbility to absorb and excel in a very fast paced and dynamic work environmentClaim handling experience in an effective desk management environmentExperience handling complex Contents and Loss of Use claimsExperience working with large national property direct repair vendors and adjusting firmsEmpathy, patience, positivity, and a passion for outstanding customer experiencesComfortable with and adaptable to new technology and business toolsExperience using estimating software, such as, Xactanalysis, Xactware products is preferredAt Lemonade we welcome candidates who are enthusiastic about learning and adapting to the exciting world of technology and AI, as a commitment to ongoing growth in this field is a fundamental part of our cultureLemonade expects all advocates to have and maintain an adjusters license in good standing. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
