Cloud Strategic Architect (Azure & GCP)

Job Title: Cloud Strategic Architect (Azure & GCP) Location - St louis, MO(Remote) Duration: 6 months Job Overview: We are seeking two highly skilled Cloud Strategic Architects-one specializing in bolthires Azure and the other in bolthires Cloud Platform (GCP)-to support our cloud-first strategy, dual-cloud strategy, disaster recovery (DR) strategy, and application assessment exercises. These roles will be instrumental in defining and implementing best practices, ensuring scalable and resilient cloud architectures, and guiding our cloud adoption and optimization efforts. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and define system scope and requirements using analysis of information in the development of information systems. Create and modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and capacity. Define and implement best practices for cloud architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience. Guide cloud adoption and optimization efforts. Support disaster recovery (DR) strategy and application assessment exercises. Lead and mentor teams in cloud technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture and strategy. 4-6 years of specialized experience in either bolthires Azure or bolthires Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus. Relevant certifications in Azure or GCP are preferred. Strong understanding of system limitations and capacity planning. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to create innovative solutions to complex business problems. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor teams.
