What You’ll Do: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Cloud architecture, its capabilities and limitations Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable and adhere to NRI best practices and standards Lead technical design and implementation reviews Develop technical specifications and ensure that development teams are aligned to these specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, testing, and project management Create technical proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and deliver demonstrations Develop accurate pricing models and SOWs What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5+ years in IT, with experience in cloud migration & architecture, designing, implementing & managing cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, application design & monitoring. Experience in Pre-Sales & development of proposals or SoW for solutions utilising best practices Experience building secure, scalable & cost-effective cloud infrastructure, acting as a bridge between technical, security, & business stakeholders. Key skills include proficiency in Azure, AWS or OCI, DevOps tools, & security. Deep knowledge of public/hybrid clouds, e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Platform, Oracle cloud is a bonus. Experience with operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking & virtualization. Proficiency in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, & programming languages, e.g. Python, Bash, C#. Strong understanding of cloud security protocols & compliance. Cloud certifications highly valued, e.g. Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, & the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The role will be expected to produce overall solutions including but not limited to High-Level Design, Solution Briefs, Statements of Work, Service Design & Bills of Materials. Must have strong documentation skills including strong understanding of Architecture design content & principles.
