If so, you might be a good fit in our innovative, high-energy work environment.Trintech’s Cloud Architect is responsible for prototyping, designing, and implementing the infrastructure required to deliver SaaS services to global customers. Services span over 10 products delivered from more than 8 data centers. Some work will be hands on. This will require collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, and InfoSec teams to document business needs and technical requirements, evolve solutions, drive efficiency, and maintain excellence. Striking a balance that considers security, performance, availability, scalability, and cost will be key to success. Breadth and depth of technical expertise across multiple domains and strong communication skills are required.What You'll Do

Lead collaboration across teams to elicit, document, and evolve business needs and technical requirements. This includes working daily with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), DevOps, Database Administration (DBA), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
Deliver solutions for integrations, a data platform, business intelligence (BI), generative AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) adoption across a FinTech portfolio deployed in public and private cloud data centers to support more than 4,200 global customers.
Design cloud infrastructure and SaaS solutions. Evaluate and balance tradeoffs between security, compliance, availability, performance, scalability, and cost.
Clearly articulate the implications of design decisions across relevant dimensions to stakeholders with varying levels of business acumen and technical expertise.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, vendors, and cloud providers. Lead POCs to select best of breed technologies and tools to support ITIL and agile processes.
Define “patterns” for single and multi-tenant SaaS services and product components. Examples include public and private cloud, single and multi tenant, and varied expansion patterns (e.g., one per world / region / data center / customer etc.).
Create and maintain technical artifacts. Establish a reference architecture to facilitate adoption across teams supporting multiple product lines.
Identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, automation, and quality. Leverage and evolve enterprise toolsets such as the following:


Desired State Configuration (DSC) – Ansible, Puppet, or Chef;
Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) – Splunk and SumoLogic;
Application Performance Management (APM) – AppDynamics or Dynatrace;
Network and Database monitoring – Solarwinds or LogicMonitor; and
IT Service Management (ITSM) – ServiceNOW or Remedy.
Assist in planning and execution of multi-year roadmaps to migrate customers, products, and services to new technologies, architectures, and cloud providers.
Maintain technical expertise across domains including web and SaaS applications; public and private cloud compute; traditional and software-defined networks and storage; and workloads in Kubernetes containers and virtual machines.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency creating technical artifacts and/or documentation.
7-10 years of experience supporting cloud infrastructures and/or SaaS applications throughout the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
5-10 years of experience supporting a 24x7 production environments including cloud, compute, storage, networking, and/or data center operations.
Demonstrated proficiency with some programming and/or scripting languages (e.g., Java, C#, .NET, BASH, PowerShell, Python).
Experience supporting a range of web (IIS, Apache, Tomcat), database (SQL, NoSQL), and virtualization technologies (Kubernetes containers, VMs).
Experience with public cloud services (AWS or Azure) and/or VMware private cloud data center environments (ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, SRM, etc.).
Ability to support products developed using multiple programming languages (Java, .NET, C++, Python) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
Ability to utilize enterprise ticketing systems and tools (ServiceNOW, JIRA, Azure DevOps, GitHub, SVN).
Relevant technical (Microsoft, Amazon, VMware, CISSP, etc.) and non-technical (ITIL, ACP, PMP, etc.) certifications are a plus.
