About the position Due to rapid growth, Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect (Database Specialist) that has a passion for cloud concepts, and system integration, and cloud migrations that can support customer facing engagements along with several internal Oracle sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth. We are looking for a Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect with expertise in the following specialty areas: Database - data management, Oracle polyglot Database, GoldenGate data replication Analytics - Data Lake solutions, Big Data, Hadoop - MapReduce, Apache Spark Oracle AI Data Platform - Unifying Data for Scalable Enterprise AI Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems, feel comfortable working directly with customers and have an insatiable curiosity about what "is possible" with cloud technology. The primary focus of a Solutions Engineer is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects, customers, and internally to our sales force.
