Position Overview Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support cloud-based software development and system operations within a federal cloud program. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software for cloud computing systems, with an emphasis on Azure-based environments and data transport operations. The position supports system functionality, application development, and ongoing modernization efforts across distributed cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain software for cloud-based systems and applications • Support development and enhancement of cloud-native applications in Azure environments • Assist in maintaining and improving system software, including upgrades and enhancements • Provide guidance and support to development teams on system functionality and operations • Support system integration, testing, and validation activities • Troubleshoot and resolve software and system performance issues • Assist in ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications • Contribute to technical documentation, system design artifacts, and operational procedures • Collaborate with engineering teams to support data transport and system operations Required Qualifications • Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain) • U.S. Citizenship required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development or cloud engineering • Experience developing applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS, GCP, or OCI acceptable) • Understanding of software development lifecycle and cloud system operations Certifications • DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required or obtainable within 6 months) • One or more cloud certifications required within 6 months of hire Ind-1 Apply To this Job
