Cloud Network Automation Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer (Arista) and lead the design, implementation, and support of cutting-edge network architectures leveraging Arista's industry-leading solutions. In this strategic role, you will be pivotal in delivering robust, scalable, and secure network infrastructures for critical data center and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities Network Design & Architecture:
Develop and implement advanced Arista network architectures, including switches, routers, and automation frameworks, aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices.
Deployment & Support:
Configure, optimize, and maintain Arista network hardware and software (EOS, CloudVision), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Automation & Optimization:
Drive network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, and CloudVision APIs to streamline configuration, monitoring, and operational processes.
Troubleshooting & Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve complex Layer 2/3 network issues swiftly, minimizing downtime and impact on operations.
System Enhancements:
Propose and execute system improvements to enhance network scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee routine upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks, implementing best practices for infrastructure stability.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, ensuring seamless network and application integration. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in network engineering, with extensive hands-on expertise in Arista environments.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of routing, switching, network security, and automation within data center or cloud architectures.
Certifications:
Arista ACE (L1 L3) or equivalent, DoD IAT Level II certifications (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).
Security Clearance:
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication, documentation, and troubleshooting capabilities; proactive problem-solving; ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
