Job Overview: Cloud Infrastructure Architect We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support the evolving needs of our business. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure plans and detailed design models for application engineers to facilitate seamless integration. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and provide guidance on theoretical costs versus implementation. Lead and support technical teams in designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Plan, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud services, network, and system security to ensure optimal performance and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud teams, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive project success. Develop technical artifacts, including Definitive Technical Plans, Security Engineering Plans, and Services Description Reports. Create and document technical plans for the integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems. Coordinate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products and services to ensure seamless integration. Optimize cloud solution costs by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management. Design and develop support processes that adhere to best practices (ITIL). Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences through strong written and oral communication skills. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A graduate degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in programming, infrastructure engineering, architecture, or a related field. Certification with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment, F5 Load Balancers, Global Site Load Balancer, Infoblox, and L4-7 services in a data center environment. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience with cloud migration projects and managing complex cloud infrastructure. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
