Cloud Engineer / Windows Server Admin 100% Remote Additional responsibilities include: Implementing and maintaining full-stack cloud-native solutions on AWS cloud platform. Building responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Leverage native cloud services to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions. Develop and maintain APIs tailored for cloud environments leveraging AWS API Gateway. Implement cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups. Adopt cloud security best practices, including IAM. Implement serverless computing and event-driven architecture using AWS Lambda and AWS DynamoDB for flexible data storage. Automate cloud infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, and Terraform. Script and automate tasks using Python. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail. Optimize deployment pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline. Collaborate with senior team members and business owners to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that improve the customer experience. Assist in designing scalable and resilient cloud engineering solutions aligned with business needs. Ensure comprehensive testing, security compliance, and operational stability of solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Contribute to research and development initiatives and participate in technology skill enhancement programs. Experience in Microsoft server and network administration to include end user and vendor support in these areas. Proficient use of personal computers, ability to analyze data, document procedures, resolve technical issues, prepare reports, provide desktop system support for users having a broad range of technical knowledge and capability. Operational and administrative experience with Windows Servers and various SAAS environments. Qualifications: Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices. Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript on the front-end, and implementing serverless back-end APIs leveraging AWS Lambda and NoSQL databases (eg. AWS DynamoDB). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js). Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
