About the Role:
Develop and implement technical approaches to enhance the American Express cloud platform, focusing on automation and scalability
Collaborate with API engineering, UI engineering, quality engineering, and product management teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
Explore and apply the latest technologies, libraries, and frameworks to create sustainable products
Design, develop, and deploy cloud services using cloud-native technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Work with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Develop software programs, including coding, testing, and deployment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
Experience with cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Experience with NoSQL databases and rapid development processes
