Job Description

Career.zycto is on the lookout for a highly skilled and passionate Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team remotely. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud infrastructure on leading platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements across all cloud resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in the cloud.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and best practices, evaluating and recommending new tools and services.

Required Skills
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
