Cloud Engineer; AWS/Azure
Position: Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure) To Apply for this Job Title: Cloud Engineer (AWS / Azure) Type: Contract Location: Remote (LATAM Only) Overview We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, build, and improve cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. This role focuses on engineering secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation-first practices. The ideal candidate enjoys building repeatable patterns, improving shared services, and partnering closely with security, network, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities • Design and engineer cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure aligned with organizational standards • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Develop secure, scalable cloud networking architectures • Improve and extend cloud landing zones and shared services • Implement automation and repeatable build patterns to reduce manual effort • Partner with security, network, data engineering, and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions • Optimize cloud platforms for performance, reliability, and cost • Contribute to logging, monitoring, and observability solutions Required Skills & Qualifications • 3–7 years of hands‑on cloud engineering experience in AWS and/or Azure • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform • Solid understanding of cloud networking and security design principles • Experience building automated, repeatable cloud environments • Proficiency in Python and/or Power Shell for automation • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar tools • Experience working with logging and observability platforms Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Kubernetes platforms such as EKS and/or AKS • Experience designing or maintaining enterprise cloud landing zones • Background working in collaborative, cross‑functional engineering environments Certifications (Preferred, Not Required) • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) To Apply for this Job Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Gravity IT Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
