You’ll work cross-functionally to improve system performance, ensure uptime, and contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.Key Responsibilities1. AWS Infrastructure ManagementArchitect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, ElastiCache, Cognito, etc.)Design for high availability and scalability using immutable infrastructure principles2. Containerization & OrchestrationMaintain Docker-based environmentsImplement secure and efficient container orchestration practices3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and CDK for Terraform (cdktf)Ensure reproducible, version-controlled, and testable infrastructure deployments4. Linux Systems AdministrationMaintain Linux image build pipelinesHarden OS configurations and improve observability tools5. Database & Caching SystemsManage PostgreSQL (RDS), Redis (ElastiCache/Valkey), and MongoDBOptimize performance, backup, and recovery strategies6. ObservabilityImprove monitoring, logging, and alerting across systems (metrics, logs, traces)Implement self-healing and performance optimization mechanisms7. Security & ComplianceApply best practices in cloud security (IAM, encryption, audit trails)Support compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2 Type II) with documentation and fieldwork8. Automation & CI/CDCreate automation scripts using Python and shell scriptingContinuously improve CI/CD pipelines9.
