Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.

As a senior platform DevOps engineer at EverWatch, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.

You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

You Have:
• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or AWS Engineer
• 5+ years of experience working with containerized platforms
• Experience using and provisioning AWS cloud services
• Experience with container orchestration and management using Kubernetes, including leveraging subject matter expertise in application lifecycle management for containerized Kubernetes clustered environments
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java and Bash for automation
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• IAT Level II Certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or CySA+
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, DevOps Associate Engineer Certification, Kubernetes CKA Certification, and Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

Nice If You Have:
• Experience establishing DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and policy as code
• Experience with AWS services, including EKS, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, and EC2
• Knowledge of DNS, networking, scheduling, troubleshooting, and monitoring in cloud environments
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,143.26 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
