Cloud DevOps Engineer (Google Cloud Platform) - Part Time & Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), and Jenkins Pipelines to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
Ā Implement and maintain Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for containerized applications, ensuring scalability and resilience.
Ā Develop and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
Ā Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure using tools like Datadog.
Ā Implement Istio (Service Mesh) for secure and efficient service-to-service communication (nice to have).
Ā Manage and automate workflows using Google Composer (Airflow) for data orchestration (nice to have).
Ā Ensure security best practices, compliance, and cost efficiency within cloud environments.
Ā Collaborate with software development, security, and operations teams to drive DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Ā 3+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Ā Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, GKE, IAM, and Cloud Networking.
Ā Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Ā Deep understanding of Kubernetes (GKE) concepts such as deployments, networking, security, and monitoring.
Ā Experience in building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Ā Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or similar).
Ā Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Stackdriver.
Ā Familiarity with container security, networking, and DevOps best practices.

Pay: From ?40,000.00 per month
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
