Closing Coordinator, Real Estate
Ballard Spahr is a nationally recognized law firm with more than 750 lawyers across 19 offices in the United States. They are seeking a Closing Coordinator to manage the preparation, organization, proofreading, and assembly of closing documents for their Real Estate Team, ensuring timely and high-quality support. The role involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders and maintaining client satisfaction through efficient post-closing logistics.
Responsibilities
⢠Review and assemble all loan documents ahead of execution, ensuring a thorough final quality check
⢠Maintain a detailed list of all pending transactions
⢠Organize and request all necessary documents for closing
⢠Provide data collection support
⢠Keep the team updated on deal statuses and upcoming deadlines
⢠Prepare, organize, and proofread closing documents
⢠Coordinate with transaction parties and internal staff to manage timely deliveries
⢠Handle post-closing logistics efficiently to enhance client satisfaction
⢠Create detailed post-closing documentation and binders
⢠Liaise with various internal departments while maintaining confidentiality
Skills
⢠Experience in a law firm, title company, mortgage company, or similar organization is preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
⢠College degree a plus
⢠Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems
⢠Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
⢠Capacity to multitask without loss of accuracy
⢠Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions
⢠Flexible working in various locations as needed
