CLO Client Administrator III

Overview: As part of the Loan Market Solutions Division, the CLO & Loan Administration team provides trustee & custodian services to sophisticated loan asset managers. Wilmington is responsible for tracking and maintaining all daily activity including the collection of payments and investor waterfall distributions. Additionally, the team monitors and reports on various portfolio compliance requirements related to the underlying portfolio asset attributes. Primary ResponsibilitiesContinuous reassessment and evaluation of processes is engrained in the team’s DNA. We take a collaborative approach to identifying, assessing, developing, and implementing solutions across the platform. Additionally, we anticipate special projects and initiatives to be a regular occurrence for team members to participate in. You’ll gain experience by:Supporting the Relationship Manager with oversight of client relationshipsPerforming daily cash application and position reconciliationPerforming daily and monthly tie-outs of underlying loan characteristicsLiaising with auditors, underwriters, CLO managers, private debt managers, and other parties involvedAssisting with global asset set up and maintenancePerforming trade and wire processing for daily trading activityStrategize, recommend, and implement innovative ideas for improved daily workflowsExposure across entire lifecycle of servicing loan clients including account setup, KYC procedures, global asset setup & maintenance, notice processing, warehouse reporting, CLO / Compliance Reporting & waterfall paymentsUnderstanding and adhering to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Defining and building individualized career pathing for our staff including leadership, project related, client relationship, operations and analytics roles.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience with direct client contact, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years’ relevant work experience with direct client contactStrong focus on customer service and satisfactionExcellent verbal and written communications skillsEducation and Experience Preferred:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or AccountingHighly Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQLExceptional organizational skills with an attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and analytical skills with a strong balance of qualitative and quantitative skillsDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as contribute on an individual basisFamiliarity with various loan products – Bi-Lateral ABL Facilities, SMAs, Private Funds, MM & BSL CLOs, Business Development CompaniesProfessional work experience at CLO Trustee, Loan Agent/Bank, Middle Office Provider or CLO ManagerSystem / Application experience - Clearpar, Solvas/CDO Suite, SEI, Wall Street Office, LoanIQAt M&T Bank, we make a difference in people’s lives.
