Clinical - Quality Improvement Specialist (HEDIS) - 112274
Location: Remote - KY, EST/CST (Strongly prefer candidates in the Louisville, KY area)
SHIFT: M - F 8-5pm- OT only by exception
Duration: Needing qualified candidate through the End Of the Year to support several projects.
Job Description: Position Purpose: Support the development and maintenance of quality improvement related projects specific to HEDIS Hybrid Operations. The position exists to support the health plans in the clinical aspect of medical record review.
Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project:
• These team members will be supporting our medical record collection work, working pended chart chases to resolve issues allowing our vendors to collect medical records for our RAPs project as well as potentially supporting our HEDIS project work. Making outreach calls or faxing our providers for the purpose of medical record collection
• Processing & scanning medical records
• Making outreach calls and/or faxing our providers for the purpose of medical record collection
• Protecting HIPAA, PHI, and PII for our members and provider network.
Education Requirement: HS Diploma, plus specified medical/office training Education Preferred: Medical Assistant, Administrative Assistant (administrative degree) Software Skills Required: Microsoft: Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook Required Certifications: Required Testing: Microsoft skills testing (vendor provided?) Attach resume along w/ test scores in VMS Required Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills/ Experience: 1. Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook 1. Medical or office, background 2. Great communication skills 2. 3. Professional demeanor 3.
