Clinical - Quality Improvement Specialist (HEDIS) - 112274
Location: 100% Remote from Arkansas Shift: Mon - Fri 8am -5 PM CST Duration: 3 months + possible extension Position Purpose: Arkansas Quality Team needs staff to assist with End of Year Push projects to increase gap closure rates. This will include medical record retrieval and abstraction among other quality interventions. Will support the development and maintenance of quality improvement related projects specific to HEDIS Hybrid Operations. The position exists to support the health plans in the clinical aspect of medical record review. Typical Day in the Role: medical record research, review, abstraction, fax projects, etc. Will collaborate and interact with the team daily. Must haves: HEDIS experience is highly valued in roles like quality improvement, medical coding, data analytics, and compliance. It builds a strong foundation for moving into leadership or specialized roles. Also some knowledge of NCQA experience with HEDIS gap closure. Nice to haves: quality improvement, medical coding, data analytics, and compliance understanding Candidate Requirements Required: Bachelor s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Quality (including HEDIS measures or NCQA) or equivalent experience in related healthcare experience.
