Position Title: Quality Improvement Specialist (HEDIS) Location: Remote AR Duration: 3 Months | Possible extension/conversion Schedule: 8-5 CST Position Summary Arkansas Quality Team needs staff to assist with End of Year Push projects to increase gap closure rates. This will include medical record retrieval and abstraction among other quality interventions. Key Responsibilities • HEDIS experience is highly valued in roles like quality improvement, medical coding, data analytics, and compliance. It builds a strong foundation for moving into leadership or specialized roles. • 8-5 CST, medical record research, review, abstraction, fax projects, etc. Will collaborate and interact with the team daily. Candidate Requirements Education/Experience: • Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Quality (including HEDIS measures or NCQA) or equivalent experience in related healthcare experience. Top 3 Must-Have Skills: • Knowledge of NCQA technical specifications and how to navigate and utilize them • Medical Terminology skills • Technical skills, excel, word and Microsoft office suite Must haves: NCQA experience with HEDIS gap closure.
